Hi, Welcome to my blog about my journey with Crohns disease. I was diagnosed with Crohns when I was 12 and am now 25. I have pretty successfully treated my disease with diet and some other “alternative” (I hate that word) therapies. I say pretty becuase I am not asymptomatic, but I don’t currently take any prescription medications and live a fairly normal life.
There is a lot of crap out there in the world of medicine that I’m going to try and help sift through while sharing some of my personal stories. Look foward to interacting with everybody. This is the first blog I’ve done… wish me luck.

Hmm… the date should say July 24, 2006.. but it won’t let me change it..FYI
Hey Matt, great site I was thinking about one day started my own blog just to talk and hear from others. I am now 30 yrs old, It has been about 2 yrs now for me, I was diag. 2 yrs ago with Lymphocytic Colitis and it has been horrible, life has changed completely for me, I try to stay positive which as you know can be heard at times, my social life isnt the greatest anymore. I love to travel but im been so restrictive since all this started. I have a juicer and after reading on the net most of the day about juicing, I think I will start a cabbage/carrot fast and see how that goes. Thanks again for your words and I look forward in future ones. I was also thinking about joining the local support group for Cronhs and Colitis persons, was wondering if you have ever done that and if so was /is it beneficial. Take care,
